As part of the growth of our organization, we are proud to announce that María Alejandra Castillo has been named partner of the Firm. From this new position, she will assume bigger responsibilities and new challenges.

Since joining the Firm in 2011, María Alejandra has grown in a sustained way from Director of Trademarks, her most distinguished role in AP&R, becoming the responsible of managing and protecting our client’s portfolios.

Beyond her proactivity, responsibility and commitment in her responsibilities María Alejandra has been participating in different international IP meetings, where she has been noticed as a reference and distinguished as “Associate – to – Watch” by international publications that constantly assess law firms, which confirms AP&R’s commitment to retain the best talent and maintain the quality of our services even in complex times.

María Alejandra is member of The International Trademark Association (INTA), co-delegate of the Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance (GALA), member of the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI) and representative of the American- Venezuelan Chamber of Commerce (Venamcham). She also serves as member of the Board of Intellectual Property Agents in Venezuela (COVAPI).
