María Rusé Ruggiero handles the firm's domestic and Asian clients, providing specialized legal advice on Intellectual Property, Unfair Competition, Advertising Law and Copyright. Chambers and Partners (2017) described her as «a very good IP lawyer, particularly active in handling trademark portfolios, as well as advising on advertising law and copyright».

She joined Antequera as a Junior Associate in 2007 and has built an outstanding career within the firm, being named in 2018 among the Next Generation Lawyers in the Legal 500 ranking.
